Over the months we’ve also been asked many questions about our affiliate program. We hope to address some of those in this blog post so you have a clear understanding of what to expect as an affiliate.
How are payouts structured?
As an affiliate you will receive one-time payouts for referrals you send to PeoplesHost. We’ve structured the payout amount you earn as an affiliate based on the plan and billing cycle a referral signs up with. The payout levels can be found on our Awesome payouts page.
Remember, in order to be paid out for a referral you send to PeoplesHost that referral must remain an active and paying customer (without an outstanding or past due amount owed) for at least 60 days upon signing up. Why 60 days? We payout for your referrals after 60 days of their initial sign up date due to our 60 day money back guarantee policy. Cancellations and refunds within 60 days will happen, but this is a way for PeoplesHost to also ensure that an affiliate is sending quality referrals.
How much can I earn as an affiliate?
As mentioned before, payouts are structured based off the plan and billing cycle a referral signs up with. Currently, these payouts are non-negotiable. However, if proven over time that you send quality referrals who remain active in our system for a longer-term we are open to discussions.
Your can send as many referrals as you’d like–there’s no earning cap on the amount you can earn through our affiliate program!
When can I request a payout?
In order to request a payout you must have a PayPal email address. Additionally, we will need to have on file a W8 or W9 tax form before issuing a payout.
- A W9 is required for individuals or entities located in the United States
- A W8BEN is required for individuals located outside of the United States
- A W8BEN-E is required for entities/organizations located outside of the United States
Can I create custom coupons?
Unfortunately, at this time you cannot create any custom coupons. If you would like a specific coupon to use please reach out directly to our affiliate department and we would be more than happy to discuss coupon options and availability.
How do I log into/access my affiliate account?
Once you have been set up as an affiliate you can log into your account by using this link. Inside you’ll be able to grab your tracking URL and any banners you wish to use on your sites.
